General Terms & Conditions Please read the following carefully, as lettings of the properties are solely on the terms and conditions below. If you agree to the terms, please print and sign this form, and return it to Golden Mile Property Management, by mail or FAX. A copy signed by us will be given to you on your arrival. 1: Golden Mile (the Company) acts solely as an agent for the purpose of letting the properties advertised on behalf of the respective owner. 2: Your Completed Booking Application form constitutes an agreement of letting only for the time specified on the form. 3: A deposit of 50% of the total letting cost shall be paid on confirmation of booking your rental. The balance of the letting cost shall be paid no later than eight weeks prior to starting date. If the balance is not paid by date due, the Company shall be at liberty forthwith and without notice to treat such payment as a repudiation of this agreement by the client and the deposit shall be forfeited. 4: If a letting is made less than eight weeks prior to intended starting date the whole amount of rental cost shall be paid. 5: An additional 1 weeks security deposit is required on arrival, from which we shall be at liberty to deduct such sums as may be incurred by the owner in respect of any damage or breakages to the property. 6: In the event of a cancellation by the client, the Company must be notified immediately in Writing and the date of Cancellation shall be the date upon which such notice is received. The following Cancellation charges shall apply:
7: Upon arrival at the property the client, with the owner or agent, shall read and confirm that the inventory of contents is correct and in good working order. 8: At the end of the letting and before departure the client shall, with the owner or agent, inspect the contents of the property and compare the same inventory. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that this is done. Any damage or losses noted shall be charged to the client. 9: In the event of the client leaving the property prior to inspection and inventory not being checked, the same conditions apply as in 8. 10: The Client shall keep and leave the property and contents in the same clean and good order as found upon arrival. 11: In the event, for whatever reason, the property becomes unavailable or is not reasonably fit to be let after the booking has been accepted, the Company will endeavor to assist the client in finding a reasonable suitable alternative. 12: The client shall take full and sole responsibility for the safety and conduct of himself/herself. 13: In the event of any breach of the above terms and conditions by the client, the owner or agent may in their absolute discretion terminate the agreement forthwith and the client shall be liable to compensate the owner for any loss or damages whatsoever, or howsoever thereby incurred.
